The GM-B2100 puts the CasiOak in stainless steel—same octagonal bezel that made the GA-2100 famous, now with a polished metal finish. This 4B variant adds a pink dial that’s bolder than it sounds. Solar powered with Bluetooth sync, so no batteries and always accurate.

Casio GBM2100A-4B: Metal CasiOak in Pink

When Casio elevated the CasiOak to the G-STEEL line, they added stainless steel construction, solar power, and Bluetooth. The GBM2100A-4B takes that premium package and drops in a vibrant pink dial—proof that industrial and playful aren’t mutually exclusive.

Steel Meets Color

The 44mm stainless steel bezel retains the octagonal shape that earned the GA-2100 its “CasiOak” nickname. The polished finish catches light in ways the matte resin original never could. Against that industrial backdrop, the pink dial creates genuine visual tension—it’s a bold choice that actually works. Silver hands and indices provide contrast against the vibrant dial color.

Solar and Connected

Tough Solar charging means any light source keeps this running—no battery swaps required. The rechargeable cell lasts about 7 months on a full charge with typical use. Bluetooth connectivity links to the G-Shock app for automatic time sync (four times daily), world time across 300 cities, reminders, and phone finder. The watch handles timekeeping independently too—±15 seconds per month accuracy when not connected.

G-Shock DNA

200m water resistance and shock-resistant construction carry the G-Shock essentials. The bio-based resin case and strap components reflect Casio’s sustainability push while maintaining durability. At 72 grams, it’s heavier than the resin models but lighter than you might expect for a steel watch. Double LED backlighting illuminates both the analog dial and digital display.

The Premium Play

At $280, the GBM2100A-4B costs more than double the resin CasiOak. What you’re paying for: steel construction, solar power, Bluetooth connectivity, and a dial color that makes people notice. For CasiOak fans who wanted something elevated—and aren’t afraid of pink—this delivers.

G-Shock, short for Gravitational Shock, first launched in 1983 after Casio engineer, Kikuo Ibe conceptualized a watch that could have a battery life of 10 years, be water resistance up to 100 meters, and survive a 10 meters drop.  Originally intended as a high-priced specialty item, G-Shocks are now considered to highly regarded collector-worthy timepieces.
