About The Product
Casio G-Shock GM-S2100PG-1A4 Metal Covered Mini CasiOak
The Casio G-Shock GM-S2100PG-1A4 is a mid-sized addition to the metal-covered GM-S2100 series, sometimes called the “Mini CasiOak.” It pairs G-Shock’s signature octagonal silhouette with a stainless steel bezel finished in pink gold ion plating over a glass fibre-reinforced resin case, set against a black resin band.
Design and Build
The 40.4mm case combines a stainless steel front bezel with a resin core, giving the watch a metal-clad look while keeping the weight low at roughly 55 grams. The mineral glass crystal protects an analog-digital dial, and the watch carries G-Shock’s standard shock resistance plus 200-meter water resistance.
Features
Functions include World Time across 31 time zones plus UTC, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer (1 minute to 24 hours), five daily alarms with hourly time signal, a full auto-calendar through 2099, and a Double LED light with Super Illuminator. A hand-shift function moves the analog hands clear of the digital display when needed.
Power
The GM-S2100PG-1A4 is powered by a CR1025 battery with an estimated three-year life and quartz timekeeping accurate to ±15 seconds per month.

The Brand
G-Shock, short for Gravitational Shock, first launched in 1983 after Casio engineer, Kikuo Ibe conceptualized a watch that could have a battery life of 10 years, be water resistance up to 100 meters, and survive a 10 meters drop. Originally intended as a high-priced specialty item, G-Shocks are now considered to highly regarded collector-worthy timepieces.
