The GA110HDS-7A belongs to G-Shock’s Hidden Glow series, inspired by the bioluminescence of plankton in summer seas. During the day, it’s a clean white G-Shock with blue accents. At night, the phosphorescent dial material absorbs light and releases a blue glow — an effect that looks better in person than it has any right to at this price.
Day and Night
The design concept captures the transformation from a sunlit beach to a bioluminescent shoreline. The white resin case and band keep things fresh in daylight, while blue dial elements hint at what’s coming. In the dark, the face glows with a blue phosphorescence that fades gradually — different from standard lume and more atmospheric.
GA-110 Core
Under the glow effect is the proven GA-110 platform. The oversized case measures 55 x 51.2mm at 16.9mm thick, weighing 72 grams. Analog hands over a digital subdisplay, powered by the same module that drives world time across 29 time zones, a 1/1000-second stopwatch, countdown timer, and five daily alarms. Amber LED light for the analog hands and LCD backlight for the digital readout.
Built Like a G-Shock
