The Prospex Turtle case has earned its reputation as a capable dive watch, and the SRPH57 U.S. Special Edition adds some visual distinction to the formula. That turquoise dial with turtle-shell patterning makes it stand out from the standard Prospex lineup.
The Turtle Treatment
The 45mm cushion case is the iconic Turtle shape that’s been around since the 1970s. It wears smaller than the diameter suggests thanks to shorter lugs. At 13.2mm thick with 200 meters of water resistance, it meets ISO standards for actual scuba diving—this isn’t a desk diver.
That Dial
The turquoise color shifts from teal at the center to darker at the edges, with the turtle-shell pattern adding texture without overwhelming. Day-date at 3 o’clock with the option for English or Kanji day display. LumiBrite on the hands and indices handles underwater legibility.
Proper Dive Specs
Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface—a step up from Hardlex. Screw-down crown. Unidirectional bezel with 120-click action. The caseback features a sea turtle image, reinforcing the Special Edition status.
