The Seiko SNE575 is a compact 38mm PADI Special Edition dive watch from the Prospex line, built around a solar-powered quartz movement and ISO-rated 200m water resistance. Co-branded with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, it carries the PADI logo on the dial, a blue 15-minute accent on the unidirectional bezel, and a commemorative engraving on the screw-in case back.

Solar Movement with a 10-Month Reserve

Powering the SNE575 is Seiko’s Caliber V147, a solar-powered quartz movement that converts natural and artificial light into electrical energy. Fully charged, it runs for approximately 10 months with no light exposure and never needs a battery change. An overcharge prevention function and quick-start function protect the cell and return the watch to time-keeping quickly after storage.

Built to Dive Standards

The 38mm stainless steel case is rated to 200m / 660ft for recreational scuba diving, secured by a screw-down crown and screw-in case back. A unidirectional rotating bezel tracks elapsed bottom time, and LumiBrite on the hands, indexes, and bezel keeps the dial legible in low light and underwater. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the black dial with date window at 3 o’clock.

Comfortable Everyday Proportions

At 38mm across and roughly 10.6mm thick with a 46mm lug-to-lug, the SNE575 is one of the most wearable Prospex divers in the lineup, suited for smaller to mid-size wrists and dressy enough to wear off the dive boat. The matching stainless steel bracelet with three-fold clasp and secure lock balances the case on 20mm lugs, keeping weight around 151 grams.
