Cream background with applied silver indices and a date window at 3 o’clock. The hands have lume, which is a nice touch for a fashion watch—you can actually read it in dim restaurants. Mineral crystal protects it without adding too much to the cost.

Simple Quartz

Three-hand quartz with date. Set it once, swap the battery every few years, done. There’s something to be said for a watch that just works without maintenance schedules or winding rituals.
