The GBD-200 is G-Shock’s fitness-focused line with a Memory-in-Pixel display that stays readable in direct sunlight. Pairs with your phone’s GPS for distance tracking, pace data, and auto lap times. At 58 grams with 200m water resistance, it handles runs, swims, and everything in between.
About The Product
Casio GBD-200: G-Shock for Runners
G-Shock’s G-SQUAD line puts fitness tracking in a package that can take a beating. The GBD-200 uses a Memory-in-Pixel (MIP) display—the same tech in Garmin’s running watches—for visibility that doesn’t wash out in sunlight. No backlight needed during daytime runs.
Phone-Connected GPS
Rather than cramming GPS into the watch (and dealing with the battery drain), Casio connects to your phone’s GPS via Bluetooth. The tradeoff: you need your phone nearby. The benefit: two-year battery life on a standard CR2032. The GBD-200 calculates running pace, splits, and auto-lap data from that GPS connection.
Built Like a G-Shock
Shock-resistant case, 200-meter water resistance, soft urethane band. At 48.4mm wide and 58 grams, it’s mid-sized for a G-Shock—not the slim dress-watch profile of a dedicated running watch, but recognizably G-Shock. The honeycomb pattern on the crystal adds texture without compromising readability.
The Basics
Step counter, stopwatch, interval timer, five alarms, world time. The companion app logs your activity history and syncs time automatically. The MIP display shows time, day, and date at a glance—no button press required.
