The DW-5600 “Square” is where G-Shock began in 1983. The GM-5600 takes that iconic shape and adds a stainless steel bezel—upgrading the look while keeping everything that made the original work.
Metal Upgrade
The stainless steel bezel frames the display with precision. It’s heavier than the full-resin original, but the added weight feels premium rather than burdensome. The black resin case and strap balance the metal, keeping the watch comfortable for extended wear. The contrast between materials creates visual interest.
Same Square DNA
The silhouette is unmistakably G-Shock heritage. The 44mm case maintains the proportions that have worked since the 80s. 200m water resistance is unchanged. Shock resistance is unchanged. The display layout—time, day, date—is the classic configuration that millions of Square owners know.
