The GMA-P2100SG-2A brings the CasiOak silhouette down to 40mm with a sunset-inspired purple gradient dial. At just 40g in bio-based resin, it’s G-Shock tough at a fraction of the usual heft—200m water resistance included.
About The Product
Casio GMA-P2100SG-2A: CasiOak Goes Compact
The GA-2100 got nicknamed “CasiOak” for its octagonal bezel, and the GMA-P2100 takes that design down to 40mm. The SG-2A variant adds a sunset gradient dial in purple that actually looks good in person—not something you can say about every colorful G-Shock.
Built Light, Built Tough
At 40g, this doesn’t feel like a G-Shock on your wrist. The bio-based resin keeps things light without sacrificing the brand’s shock resistance. You still get 200m water resistance—serious overkill for most situations, but that’s kind of the G-Shock point.
The Sunset Glow Treatment
That purple gradient on the dial uses a vapor deposition process to get the color transition right. It shifts depending on the light angle, which makes it more interesting than a flat color. The blue resin case and band complement without clashing.
Everything You’d Expect
Under the hood: world time across 48 cities, stopwatch, countdown timer, 5 daily alarms. The Super Illuminator LED lights up both the analog hands and digital display. Full auto-calendar runs until 2099, so you’re covered. Battery life is roughly 3 years on a CR1025.
Who This Fits
If the standard GA-2100 felt too chunky or you just prefer something lighter, the GMA-P hits the mark. The compact size works for smaller wrists without looking like a toy. And the eco-friendly materials are a nice bonus for the environmentally-minded.
